Oba Femi reflects on how he came to do his war dance to the ring in his entrance.

While Oba is known as one of the more brutal superstars on WWE’s roster, one of Femi’s biggest qualities in the eyes of fans is his entrance. With a booming theme playing, Femi lightly dances his way to the ring while walking down the ramp in tune to his WWE theme song. Now, Femi has explained where the entrance had its origins.

While speaking to Denise Salcedo in a new interview, Oba Femi was asked about his entrance and how it came to be, noting that it ‘happened organically’ and it’s ‘stuck ever since’.

“Something that happened organically, it’s something that stuck, I vibe to the music. I war danced my way to the ring, killed my opponents, and it’s stuck ever since.”

Elsewhere in the same interview, Femi also discussed speaking with John Cena backstage on the night of Cena’s retirement and Oba’s main roster debut. You can read more about that here.
