Thunder Rosa: There Were Some Moments That I Was Like, I’m Probably Never Going to Wrestle Again

Thunder Rosa recently appeared on SiriusXM Busted Open radio to discuss her injury and her lengthy road to recovery.

As of February 18, Rosa returned to AEW television and she’s set to wrestle Julia Hart on tonight’s Collision. It’ll be her first match since taking part in the Casino Gauntlet at AEW: All In.

“Life gives me an opportunity again to do something that I’ve worked so hard for the last 12 years,” Rosa said. “I am beyond excited. I have a message to everyone who’s been super supportive for my comeback: It’s important not to give up, especially during dark times. This injury, believe me, Robin, it was dark.”

She continued, “There were some moments that I was like, I’m probably never going to wrestle again. So I’m extremely excited about Collision to wrestle Julia Hart.”

Thunder Rosa wasn’t afraid to open up on her injury, one that nearly derailed her entire career. Thankfully, the former AEW Women’s Champion is cleared and is once again on the road to reclaiming her title.
