John Cena’s Retirement Match Draws $6.55 Million Gate

Big numbers for the final match of John Cena.

According to Pollstar data (via POST Wrestling), ticket sales for Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13 in Washington, D.C., totaled $6,553,883. It was the largest gate in arena history for wrestling and the largest arena gate for WWE in 2025.

The event was headlined by John Cena competing in his retirement match against Gunther.

The previous arena gate high for WWE was $4.89 million, set at the Raw on Netflix premiere at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, CA.

17,121 tickets were sold for the event, with an average price of $383.
