Charlotte Flair: I Feel Like I Have A Really Special Bond With Bayley That’s Very Much Different Than The One I Have With Mercedes Moné & The One I Have With Becky Lynch

Charlotte Flair talks about her relationship with Bayley.

In late 2025, Bayley organized a camp for independent women wrestlers called ‘Lodestone.’ The camp was recorded, and Bayley has since rolled out a mini-documentary about it.

One of the WWE talents who attended the camp to assist Bayley was Charlotte Flair. Flair looked back on being part of the camp while at Super Bowl LX Radio Row (via The Ringer Wrestling Show).

“Well, for one, it’s just incredible what Bayley’s doing. I think Bayley has said something similar but, I really do forget I’ve had all these opportunities within the WWE and that these women look at me a certain way where I’m still thinking in my head, how do I figure this all out? Where I never wanna be complacent and then, them having all these questions but also, for someone that’s ever only performed in the WWE, and seeing these women come together all across the world to wanna be where we are, it’s like, not wanting to take it for granted but, how inspiring are they that they’ve done all this with not a guaranteed future. It’s just incredible.”

That answer parlayed into Flair being asked about her relationship with Bayley. She feels their bond is stronger than ever and added that it’s different than the bonds that Flair has with Mercedes Moné and Becky Lynch.

“We’ve all been at different places in our career at different times, and when I was facing Bayley was when she coming — never been on the same side so I’ve always been bad or she’s been good or then they flipped her and she turned bad and I turned good so, I think it’s more just what locker room you were in and you know, we’re both good right now on WWE television. I feel like I have a bond that’s different with every single one of them. I feel like my bond now with Bayley is stronger than it’s ever been. But, she very much understands me as a person and a performer, and I very much understand her. So, I feel like I do have a really special bond with her that’s very much different than the one I have with Mercedes (Moné) and the one I have with Becky (Lynch).”

Flair is featured on the Friday Night SmackDown brand, and Bayley is on Monday Night Raw. On the 2/16 WWE Raw, Bayley took the pinfall in her Elimination Chamber qualifying match.
