Robert Stone Stepping Down From WWE EVOLVE Commentary, Focusing On NXT Interim GM Role
Robert Stone is putting all his focus into his new role.
Following Simone Johnson a.k.a. Ava’s departure from WWE, Shawn Michaels appointed Robert Stone as the interim General Manager of NXT. Stone had already been serving as Ava’s assistant.
Stone had been calling the action of WWE EVOLVE alongside Peter Rosenberg, but he is stepping away from that role to focus on his General Manager duties. Stone tweeted the following:
After the chaos that went down last night on NXT, it’s clear I need to put my full focus on my role as Interim NXT General Manager.
With that said, tonight will sadly be my final night analyzing the action on #WWEEvolve
What an incredible 1st year for the show.
