Matt Riddle names the most exciting match he’s witnessed live and in person.
The independent wrestling scene in the United States has been home to several promotions that produced some incredible matches over the past two decades, with several, including PWG, being known for these high intensity matches. For Riddle, the most exciting matches that he’s seen reside in that company.
While speaking to Criss Cross Adventures in a new interview, Matt Riddle was asked to name the greatest wrestling match he has seen in person, looking to a match in PWG several years ago.
“I saw one between the Monstars, which is Keith Lee and Donovan Dijak against, I believe, Imperium. Timothy Thatcher and Walter at the time, now Gunther, and it was at PWG, and it was one of the sickest tag matches ever. So that’s up there. Other than some of my own matches. That’s probably the craziest, best one I’ve seen in person.”
Elsewhere in another recent interview, Riddle spoke about how the independent wrestling scene has changed. You can read more about that here.
