Big E Says Idea Of Getting Revenge On New Day Was Discussed, ‘If They Appeared On A PLE, I Could Talk About Them’
On the December 2, 2024 episode of WWE Raw, New Day officially fractured as Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston kicked Big E out of the group.
Big E had not wrestled since March 2022 due to a neck injury while Woods & Kingston struggled in the times without him.
Speaking to Baby Huey of The Bone 107.7, E was asked if there were plans for him to ever get revenge on his former friends.
“It was something that was discussed at some point. I’m very zen these days. I’m a mindfulness, meditation guy. Right now, I’m focused on my broadcasting role, that is my role. If those guys would actually appear on a PLE, if they would be there on one of these things, maybe I’d spend more time talking and thinking about them. I look around, I look at the card, no New Day. Another PLE goes by, no New Day, what am I to do? I just do my job, that’s all,” he said.
Big E is an analyst on the WWE PLE pre and post-shows. New Day has not competed on a PLE since WrestleMania 41.
