Jacy Jayne Opens Up About Current Version Of Fatal Influence, Speaks On Differences Between Lainey Reid & Jazmyn Nyx

Jayne speaks about the differences.

The current version of WWE NXT’s Fatal Influence group consists of NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne, WWE Women’s Speed Champion Fallon Henley, and Lainey Reid.

Before Reid joined the group, Jazmyn Nyx was in that spot. Nyx opted not to renew her contract with WWE, and Reid filled that role as the new member of Fatal Influence.

Jacy Jayne guest appeared on Busted Open After Dark and spoke about the differences between the current version of Fatal Influence and the previous version. She feels Nyx loved wrestling and tried hard at it, but Reid has the mindset of dedicating her life to wrestling.

“I think you are on the money. I think we mesh very well together. I think we all feed off of each other really well, and I think Lainey (Reid) is so ahead of her time. She’s only been wrestling, maybe three years, I’ll say. I don’t even know if it’s been that long. But, she hangs out with the veterans. She can go in the ring and she’s smart. She knows exactly what she’s doing out there.

Lainey is a student of the game. She wants to learn. She studies it all day long. She’s in open-ring all the time. She will ask questions, ‘What can I do better? How can I make this better?’ She is invested. 100 percent of her effort goes into this, and I don’t necessarily say if I could say the same about Jazmyn (Nyx). I think Jazmyn loved this, for sure, and I think she tried very hard and she was naturally good at it, but, to say that she dedicated her entire life to this, I don’t know if I could say that.”

Coming up for Jayne is a defense of the NXT Women’s Title against Sol Ruca on the 2/24 NXT on The CW from Center Stage in Atlanta, Georgia.
