George Kittle Predicts That Roman Reigns Will Defeat CM Punk At WrestleMania 42

George Kittle makes his prediction for the main event of WrestleMania 42 later this year.

At the 2026 Royal Rumble event, Roman Reigns would win the men’s Royal Rumble match, earning himself a spot in the main event of WrestleMania 42. On the RAW after the Premium Live Event, Reigns would appear and would make his choice for the event, choosing to face WWE World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk for the gold.

In a new interview with USA Today Sports, the 49ers’ George Kittle would be asked to make his prediction for the bout, with him ultimately selecting Roman Reigns as the victor in the matchup.

“Just like the championship match, we have Roman Reigns and CM Punk. What’s tough for me is Roman Reigns is a Niners fan, but I’ve never met him before. He’s like one of the only wrestlers I’ve never met. So, you know, hopefully if I see him, I can spear him, sneak up on him. CM Punk has always been incredibly kind to me. But the tough thing about that is I acknowledge that Roman Reigns is number one. And so I think Roman Reigns is going to get it.”
