Tony Khan: Bullet Club’s History Is Closely Tied To AEW’s Legacy

Tony Khan speaks on the legacy of Bullet Club.
AEW launched in 2019 with Cody Rhodes, Kenny Omega, and The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) being part of the founding group.
Before they were founding fathers of AEW, they rose to prominence as members of Bullet Club in New Japan Pro-Wrestling. After once being prominently featured and housing some of the top stars in NJPW, Bullet Club has taken a backseat in more recent years.
Now, the Club no longer exists in its original form.
Speaking to Baby Huey of The Bone 107.7, Tony Khan was asked about BC.
“The Bullet Club has a phenomenal and very rich history of some of the greatest wrestlers that I’ve ever seen. It’s a very rich history that is closely tied to AEW’s own legacy,” he said.
Gabe Kidd and Clark Connors, who were part of the most recent iteration of BC, are currently part of AEW and feuding with Darby Allin.
Elsewhere during the interview, Tony commented on AJ Styles. You can find his full comments here.
