The Hardy Boys discuss potentially having a conversation with themselves when they were rookies in the industry.
The two brothers are one of the most iconic tag teams of all time in the world of professional wrestling, with their careers having several ups and downs throughout the years. Now, they have revealed what advice they would give themselves.
While speaking to the Rivet City Podcast in a new interview, The Hardy Boys named what they would tell their rookie selves if they were given the chance.
Matt Hardy: “Current me, 2026 me, would say, look, I know you’re young, and you’re invincible, and you’re indestructible, But look, whenever you’re doing these moves that are gonna bang you up in the future, like, pick and choose. Use them at important times. Do them in important scenarios. Do them when they count, when it means something, and conserve your body as much as you can.”
Jeff Hardy: “I would say, go out there and wrestle this first match like it’s your last match and don’t ever give in to drugs and alcohol. That’s what I would say. “
Elsewhere in the same interview, Matt Hardy spoke about the pair becoming locker room leaders in TNA. You can read more about that here.
