Bron Breakker believes that CM Punk is the greatest wrestling promo in the history of the industry.
Since making his WWE debut in the mid 2000s, Punk has brought his A game every time he’s held a microphone in his hand in a WWE ring, with his infamous Pipebomb promo going down in wrestling history as one of the most iconic promos of all time.
While speaking to ComingSoon.net, Bron Breakker spoke about having the chance to work with Punk, noting that he is the greatest promo in the history of the wrestling industry.
“This is the first opportunity that I’ve had to really show that I can do that at a high level. Prior to this point, I don’t know that the situation has been, as me being able to be my authentic self out there and saying things in the way that I would do them and just get to be me, and that is what you’re seeing. Obviously it’s a better product. It’s better presentations all around. Just it’s better because it’s me and nobody knows how to be me more than me. So I’ve always been capable of doing that. I’ve always been capable of hanging in there and cutting promos at whatever level that we have, and obviously Punk, in my opinion, is the greatest promo in the history of the game. I don’t think anyone’s better than him. I think me having the lack of promo experience and doing it at the level that I’ve been doing it the past month or so to count on maybe doing them in the arena, in front of a live audience on the main roster, I can count on probably one hand. The fact that, you know, we- and I say we as The Vision are able to go out and do it in the recent month, really at the level that we’ve been able to do, it shows that everyone wants to call us the future. It’s great to put on a poster or a tag or whatever you want to call it. I think what we’ve been doing recently proves that there’s just nobody else that’s even close.”
Elsewhere in the same interview, Bron noted what three stipulations he would select for a Three Stages Of Hell match. You can read more about that here.
