Drew McIntyre Wants To Wrestle At Tokyo Dome

McIntyre wants to wrestle at The Dome.

Coming up for WWE is the Royal Rumble Premium Live Event on January 31st from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. One of the matches on the bill will see Sami Zayn challenging Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship.

Ahead of the bout, McIntyre made the media rounds to promote the show. One of the outlets he spoke with was ABEMA. McIntyre told the outlet that he wants to wrestle at the Tokyo Dome.

“Japan, I’m coming back. Roppongi, wait for me! I’ve never had a big match at the Tokyo Dome, so I want to compete there.”

Back in October 2025, WWE held house shows in Japan. McIntyre is on the record saying that before he came back to WWE, he was prepared to make his way to New Japan Pro-Wrestling.
