Steve Maclin Reacts To Being Fired From TNA Wrestling: “This F*cking Sucks… Been Down This Road Before”
Maclin and Deonna Purrazzo react.
TNA Wrestling’s Feast or Fired returned in January 2026, and the four individuals to pull down briefcases were Eddie Edwards, Trey Miguel, Eric Young, and Steve Maclin.
Edwards’ briefcase contained a slip for a TNA World Championship match. For Trey Miguel, he secured an International Title match, and Eric Young is getting an X Division Title match. The briefcase that Steve Maclin had was the ‘fired’ portion of the equation.
Maclin is now gone from the promotion, and afterward, he tweeted that he’s been down this road before and put out his email. Maclin’s wife, current ROH Women’s Pure Champion Deonna Purrazzo, tweeted about Maclin being fired as well.
Well, this fucking sucks.

The hardest worker, the humblest man.
Just shy of 5 years ago, you got a call you never expected to get. But with it came the opportunity to become everything you always wanted to be. And you DID.
You’ve always stayed true to yourself and your beliefs, and you give everything… https://t.co/HJFCGwVLCq pic.twitter.com/Dvgp0IpN6d
