Scott Steiner On Working With Stephanie McMahon: She Was Cool, I Was Handcuffed

Scott Steiner compliments Stephanie McMahon, but admits he was handcuffed while the pair were working together.

Upon arriving in WWE in 2002, Steiner would work with several of WWE’s major on screen talents at the time, including Stephanie McMahon, who Steiner shared the ring with for promo segments. But for Steiner, he feels like he couldn’t do all he wanted to do with McMahon.

While speaking to Going Ringside in a new interview, Scott Steiner was asked about working with Stephanie McMahon, noting that she was cool but that he felt handcuffed when he did work with her due to her dad running the show at the time.

“Yeah, I mean, it was her dad’s business, so, she’s part of their… Oh, she was cool. Well, no, I couldn’t. I couldn’t go as far (or) as much as I wanted. I was like, you know, handcuffed. so I couldn’t do everything.”
