At the WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event that took place in the lead up to SummerSlam last year, Jelly Roll would accompany Randy Orton to the ring for a match with Drew McIntyre, who was flanked by Logan Paul for the bout. During the match, Jelly Roll would floor Paul with a shove, following it up with a right hand following the match, but would be on the receiving end of a Claymore from Drew McIntyre to close out the segment.

While speaking during the fourth episode of WWE: Unreal’s second season, Randy Orton described Jelly Roll as a ‘natural performer’.

“If I were to describe Jelly Roll, he’s a natural performer. He’s someone who has performed all over the world. He does shows were people come just to see him. You can just tell that he’s a lifelong fan, he loves this business and he’s been watching because he knows what it takes to perform in that ring and he just did it so well. I was so impressed. He blew anyone else out of the water that’s ever tried to step out of their world and step into ours.”

A conversation was also shown where Randy admitted to Triple H that he was skeptical at first about working with Jelly Roll.

Elsewhere in the same episode, Triple H noted that Seth Rollins didn’t want to tell LA Knight about his worked knee injury. You can read more about that here.
