Booker T During Josh Briggs’ Entrance On WWE NXT: “You Know What Happens After WrestleMania, People Start Getting Cut Around Here…”

WWE’s NXT brand is going to crown a new NXT Champion by way of a six-person Ladder match on the February 3rd NXT on The CW.

Qualifying matches for the Ladder match are ongoing, and one of the qualifiers saw Josh Briggs versus Shiloh Hill. During Briggs’ entrance, two-time WWE Hall of Famer and NXT color commentator Booker T said the following:

“Josh Briggs, like I say, this is a pivotal moment for this guy. WrestleMania is coming up, and you know what happens after WrestleMania, people start getting cut around here…”

Hill defeated Briggs in the qualifying match.

Briggs has been signed to WWE since the summer of 2020. He’s been a part of the NXT brand for the entirety of his run with the company.
