Kali Armstrong Doesn’t Want The Early Praise To Blow Her Up, ‘That’s When You Start To Get Complacent’

Kali Armstrong isn’t getting caught up by the praise.

The world of wrestling has big expectations for Kali Armstrong, with some fans even considering her to be a future main event talent for the main roster. There is even some chatter that Armstrong is good enough to headline WrestleMania one day.

Armstrong responded to the praise in a new interview with Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp, saying that she could get complacent if she relies on the noise.

“It definitely feels cool to hear, but I don’t try and hang on to any comment honestly. ‘Cause just as it could be so good and she could be a WrestleMania. On the other side, it could be so bad that she needs to get fired. So if I hang on to one, I’ll probably hang on to the other. So I’ll just see it and I’ll let it go. I’ll see the negative and I’ll let it go. So until something’s set in stone and I am in WrestleMania, I’m gonna keep on grinding. I’m gonna keep on doing what I do so I could get to that moment. But if I just hear that and let it blow me up like, ‘They think I could be—’ then that’s when you start to get complacent and stuff and that’s not me. I’m always grinding, I’m always hustling ‘til the day I die.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Kali Armstrong talked about her goals in 2026. Fans can check out her full comments by clicking here.
