Kali Armstrong: I’ve Learned So Much From Shawn Spears
Kali Armstrong is learning from veteran names in NXT.
Despite having just over 50 matches under her belt, many fans view Kali Armstrong as one of the top names to lead the future of women’s wrestling.
In a new interview with Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp, Armstrong revealed that she’s been learning a lot from Shawn Spears in NXT.
“Like you said, it’s so many resources, so many legends. People have been doing this for so long. But I say people I’ve learned a lot from, honestly, Shawn Spears, I’ve been in his class for a good amount of time and the things that I’ve learned from him solely, ‘It’s about aggression,’ and how to be a heel and just doing what I do. Like I’ve learned so much from him. I’ve learned a lot from Coach Moss, Coach Smiley. Like there’s so many different coaches that I’ve learned so much from, but Shawn Spears definitely stands out.”
