Tony Khan Accepts Fightful Awards For Best Booker, Best Promotion And Best Event, Thanks The Fans For A Great Year
Tony Khan and AEW won a handful of Fightful Awards, including Best Booker, Best Promotion for AEW, and Best Event for AEW All In Texas.
Accepting the award for best event, Tony said, “Hello Fightful Wrestling, it’s great to be here with you today. It’s a real honor. I’m so proud that All Elite Wrestling has been voted by the readers of Fightful the pro wrestling promotion of the year for 2025. We’re going to receive a separate trophy for that on Dynamite. Right now, I want to thank you for this trophy I have now. This represents the event of the year in 2025, which you at Fightful have voted AEW All In Texas. That’s incredible. We’ve had three different AEW pay-per-views from major sporting publications receiving awards. We had so many tremendous events for 2025 and I’m so proud that you the Fightful readers have voted All In Texas the best show of the year. I’m also so grateful to the wrestlers, the staff, and the fans that made that show possible, all of you that made this great 2025 possible. This trophy also represents the best booker of the year in pro wrestling in 2025, as voted by the readers of Fightful, and I’m so proud. Thousands of wrestling fans get their news from Fightful, and it’s a real honor that you all have voted me the booker of the year for 2025. Thank you very much. I hope we all have a great 2026. AEW All In Texas took place on July 12 from Globe Life Field in Arlington, TX. It was headlined by the Texas Death Match between Jon Moxley and Hangman Page.
AEW started the year with its new media rights deal, which included a simulcast of Dynamite and Collision on HBO Max. PPVs and weekly TV shows throughout the year were well received by fans.
