Léi Yǐng Lee Def. NXT’s ZARIA To Retain Knockouts World Championship At TNA Genesis

The title remains with TNA.

Dani Luna was originally scheduled to challenge Léi Yǐng Lee for the TNA Knockouts World Championship at the 2026 Genesis pay-per-view. She was not able to be in attendance for TNA’s debut on AMC or the Genesis event due to visa issues.

Filling in for Luna was WWE NXT talent ZARIA. She challenged Lee for the belt, which was the champion’s second defense.

ZARIA set Lee up for an F5, but Lee’s foot accidentally knocked the referee down. Sol Ruca, who was cornering ZARIA, got into the ring to wake up the official. Xia Brookside, who was in Lee’s corner, also got into the ring.

The TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Champions, The Elegance Brand (M by Elegance & Heather by Elegance), ran down to the ring, but they were taken out by Ruca and Brookside. ZARIA and Ruca are set for tag team action on the 1/20 NXT, and the winners of the tag match will get a shot at The Elegance Brand’s Knockouts World Tag Team Titles.

Later in the match, Léi Yǐng Lee was able to put ZARIA away with the Warrior’s Way finisher to retain her title. The champion and the challenger shook hands afterward.

As Lee was celebrating her victory, the newest addition to TNA’s Knockouts division, Elayna Black, showed up and put the Knockouts World Champion on notice.
