Ben Affleck Says He’d Be A Tweener If He Ever Became A Wrestler

Ben Affleck says he would prefer a tweener gimmick in wrestling.

Ben Affleck and Matt Damon’s new crime-thriller film, The Rip, was released on Netflix on January 16. Netflix recently held a premiere event for the movie, where Jade Cargill chatted with Affleck and Damon.

During their interview with Cargill, both stars were asked about their wrestling gimmicks. Affleck said he would like to be a tweener, rather than a clear babyface or a heel. He wants people to judge his character based on the actions he takes.

“Seems like the ones that are successful are where they play with the line of hero and villain. Something that becomes one, and then they go into another. Sometimes it works really well. Sometimes it enhances it. Sometimes I feel they’re like, no, no, no. This just be a hero. But I do think that unknown-like-spot, the ability to think like a hero or else like what’s in this movie, where you think these principles would be good, and maybe are they bad? Like having the audience question that is dramatic interest.”

Elsewhere in the same interview, the actors talked about their signature wrestling moves. Fans can read more about it here.
