As reported by Fightful Select, Hobbs’ contract with AEW expired at midnight on January 15, and he is expected to join WWE.
WWE has not officially announced the signing of Hobbs.
Hobbs is one-third of the AEW Trios Champions alongside Samoa Joe & Katsuyori Shibata. They are set to defend the titles against Hangman Page & JetSpeed (Kevin Knight & Mike Bailey) on AEW Collision Maximum Carnage. The match was taped on January 14th.
