Hobbs is one-third of the AEW Trios Champions alongside Samoa Joe & Katsuyori Shibata. They are set to defend the titles against Hangman Page & JetSpeed (Kevin Knight & Mike Bailey) on AEW Collision Maximum Carnage. The match is being taped on January 14th.

Hobbs signed with AEW in 2020. He is a former AEW TNT Champion.
