Myron Reed Was Willing To Fulfill Obligation Of Facing Leon Slater At TNA On AMC Debut Show

Reed was open to fulfilling his obligations.

It was initially advertised for TNA Wrestling’s debut on AMC on January 15th that The Rascalz’s Myron Reed would be challenging Leon Slater for the X Division Championship. Going into the AMC debut show, the match was no longer being advertised.

Reed and fellow members of The Rascalz (Zachary Wentz, Dezmond Xavier & Trey Miguel) were free agents when the year started, but that is no longer the case as it was announced during AEW Dynamite: Maximum Carnage that The Rascalz signed with All Elite Wrestling. That was first reported by Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp.

Sapp pushed out details regarding their signing and shared that Reed was willing to fulfill his obligation with TNA to face Slater at the AMC debut show.

He added that the reason it was ultimately shelved is because of WWE’s interest in Slater being part of their European tour.

Slater headlined NXT New Year’s Evil and challenged Oba Femi for the NXT Championship. He was also a part of John Cena’s final match card and teamed with Je’Von Evans to face A.J. Styles and Dragon Lee.
