Marina Shafir discusses being the lone woman member of The Death Riders, noting that the faction are like her brothers.

Since The Death Riders broke away from The Blackpool Combat Club at WrestleDream 2024 when the remainder of the faction would choke a retiring Bryan Danielson out with the help of a plastic bag. Despite new members being added since that day, Marina has remained the lone woman member of the faction.

While speaking on The Close Up with Renee Paquette, Marina Shafir was asked about being the only woman member of the faction.

“I mean, I grew up with brothers and I just kind of- the only thing I can relate it to is just I get to work with my brothers who have my back, who want me to grow and they want me to learn and just evolve as a wrestler, as a person. They care and it’s kind of- it feels very family associated and I really am enjoying that because that’s just what I’m about.”

Earlier this month, Shafir pointed out the weaknesses that have made her rivalry with Toni Storm ‘too easy’. You can read more about that here.
