CM Punk On Acting Roles: I Want To Do Everything, Like Dave Batista

CM Punk discusses how he gets into acting roles, admitting he wants to ‘do everything’ like Batista does.

In recent years, CM Punk’s acting career has only grown, as he has started to secure more notable roles in big movies, such as a recent appearance in Zootopia 2. Now, Punk is set to star in Night Patrol, where he will play the role of a police officer who is also a vampire. For Punk, he wants to continue to expand his range.

While speaking on That Hashtag Show in a new interview, CM Punk noted that he ‘wants to do everything’, much like Batista, who has taken on a wide variety of acting roles over the years.

“I think this movie is going to kind of open up eyes to my talent, but also the litany of talent that is in this movie and yeah, I cast a wide net. I want to do everything- like Dave Batista. Currently shooting a rom-com in Calgary, which I think is going to turn a lot of people’s heads to like- there’s no such thing as small roles. I want to jump into every single opportunity that gets thrown my way and have fun doing it.”
