All Japan Pro Wrestling Signs Yasutaka Yano To Trainee Contract

Yano had been competing under a mask for the promotion.

All Japan Pro Wrestling held a show on January 11th, and appearing in the ring was Yasutaka Yano. He announced that he signed a trainee contract with AJPW.

Yano has already been competing for AJPW under a mask as ‘KURAMA.’ At the promotion’s January 3rd show, he challenged for the AJPW World Junior Heavyweight Championship. He first took on the role of ‘KURAMA’ at AJPW’s final show of 2025.

Yano is a former member of the Pro Wrestling NOAH roster. In October 2022, he and Kinya Okada were arrested on suspicion of touching a woman in her early 20s in an ‘obscene manner.’ Both of their contracts were terminated the following month.

In December of that year, Yano issued an apology. He added that the charges against him had been dropped, and his apology was accepted by the other party involved. He noted that although his apology was accepted, it does not erase what he did.
