Charlotte Flair: It Got To The Point With Me And Alexa Bliss Where It Would Feel Bad If We Were Broken Up

The partnership between Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair slowly matured in the spring before they were fully engaged in the summer and winning the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles.

While it may have looked like a short-term partnership, as they were simply allies of convenience, the partnership continued through the end of 2025 and is stronger than ever, despite losing the Women’s Tag Team Titles.

“We just got to a point where it was like, This feels really good, and it would feel really bad if we break them up, because it’s one thing to have odd couples, but I also think there was a little bit of hesitation because she [Bliss] is so beloved, whereas my character, at that point, was not. It was like, Will this even work or translate? It did. I think our real-life chemistry was able to shine on-camera, and then as we were connecting, it’s like, Why would we break them up?” Flair pondered while speaking to Andrew Korpan of Clutchpoints.

Elsewhere during the interview, Charlotte Flair discussed the lack of creative plans for her following WrestleMania 41. You can find her full comments here.
