Ronda Rousey: “I Think A Lot Of People In The WWE Think They’re A Lot Bigger Stars Than They Are”

Rousey made the comment during a media appearance.

Episode #700 of comedian Bert Kreischer’s ‘Bertcast’ featured a sit-down chat with Ronda Rousey. While going over her run in WWE, Kreischer was trying to find out who the men’s world champion was during Rousey’s time in the company.

Rousey found it funny that Kreischer could not remember and added that she thinks a lot of people in WWE believe they’re bigger stars than they actually are.

“The fact that you can’t recall,” Rousey laughed when Kreischer could not remember who the men’s world champion was at WWE when she was there. “The fact that you can’t recall, it makes it so funny because I think a lot of people in the WWE think they’re a lot bigger stars than they are.”

Rousey’s final match for WWE was an MMA Rules match against her longtime friend Shayna Baszler at SummerSlam.

Post-WWE, Rousey went on to do several indie dates and wrestled for Ring of Honor. All of those matches were tag bouts with Marina Shafir.
