Shannon Moore Reflects On AEW/ROH Experience, Heaps Praise On Tony Khan

Moore holds Tony Khan in high regard.
In October 2025, 30-year veteran Shannon Moore made his debut for AEW/ROH. He competed at a taping of ROH on HonorClub and fell in defeat to Blake Christian in a singles match.
Moore reflected on the experience while on Café de René with René Duprée. He spoke highly of AEW/ROH owner Tony Khan.
“Tony Khan’s been super — I’ve met Tony several times, even before I went and did some work this time with ROH, or AEW/ROH, and super cool. Just approachable, knows wrestling, knows the history of wrestling, and super approachable, easy to conversate with. I have nothing but amazing things to say about Tony and what he’s done to try to keep the business alive outside of one — WWE, whether we like it or not, they monopolized the business for a long time. So I think for somebody like Tony to come in and be willing to use his money to compete with that and to bring us more wrestling, and more opportunities for wrestlers, I think it’s great. He didn’t have to do it, and it takes a lot of love and passion to invest that kind of money to get something going but not only get something going for it to succeed, and to continue to thrive as competition now, you know, against something as big as WWE, as big as a corporation like that… I think it’s great what he’s done with AEW at this point and the opportunities that he’s been able to give people.”
Moore began his in-ring career in 1996. Moore spent a total of seven years with WWE in the early 2000s. After his time there came to an end, he ventured to TNA Wrestling.
