Paul Orndorff’s Son Says WWE Recently Sent Him A Letter

Paul Orndorff’s son says WWE recently sent him a letter.
In July 2021, Paul Orndorff passed away due to complications stemming from dementia.
His son, Travis Orndorff, carried over his legacy on social media, posting clips of his father’s wrestling career and sharing interesting details.
On Paul Orndorff’s social media, Travis posted about receiving a mail from WWE, but didn’t specify what exactly it was about.
“This does not get old. Never did I think I would be the one receiving mail from WWE. My whole life felt disconnected from anything to do with wrestling. Then I learned it was in my blood. Not because my father wanted me to follow him, and not because I ever tried to be him. I simply did what I knew to do. And I did it in the way he would have wanted.
For some people it might look like a simple letter. But this moment was built by Tyler and me showing up every day for more than four years with one goal. To be a blessing to one person.
From nothing, we tried to take you back to your childhood. We wanted to remind you of the good that still exists in this world.
But this story, my story, and my father’s story is not about wrestling. It is about devotion, commitment, failure, success, pain, grief, and above all, love. The love my father had for his fans and his family. The love I have for my father. And the unexpected gift of discovering that you love him too.
A promise was kept.
Relationships were built.
And all the glory goes to the One who told me not to fear. This chapter was already written.
As we enter the new year, do not fear failure.
Fear disobedience.
Embrace your purpose.
Welcome accountability.
Prepare to make mistakes.
Get back up again and again.
Stay humble.
Stay willing.
And do it with love.
Because for me, this simple letter is a love letter that has been written over mine and my father’s lifetime.
Thank you for walking this journey with me. I hope this brings you even a fraction of the joy you have given me.
And if someone decides not to answer your call, well… you know what to do.
Travis Orndorff”
A few months back, before Hulk Hogan’s passing, he said Paul Orndorff’s WrestleMania 1 main event spot was originally going to David Schultz. Fans can read more about it here.
