Deonna Purrazzo On Winning ROH Women’s Pure Championship: It Was The Perfect Way To End What I Might Call A Really Crappy Year

Deonna Purrazzo says winning the ROH Pure Women’s Championship was a great way to end 2025 for her.
At ROH Final Battle, Deonna Purrazzo defeated Billie Starkz in the ROH Women’s Pure Championship Tournament finals to become the inaugural Women’s Pure Champion.
Speaking on Gabby AF, Purrazzo revealed what it means to win a championship after so long.
“I’m a Ring of Honor kid. I’ve been a part of this company for 10 years in some way, shape or form. I am a former Ring of Honor Women’s World Champion. Back in 2020, I really didn’t think going to Ring of Honor would ever be a possibility for me again.
I think that to come full circle and now be the first ever Pure Women’s Champion is something that I think I define what this title means in my style of wrestling and how I’ve adapted it through the years. It was kind of like the perfect way to end what I might call a really crappy year.”
Before her ROH Women’s Pure Championship win, Purrazzo’s last title reign came over two years ago in April 2023, when she became the Impact Knockouts World Champion.
