Warhorse Sidelined With A Broken Fibula, GoFundMe Set Up

Warhorse is unfortunately sidelined with a broken leg.

Warhorse last competed on December 21st at Glory Pro Wrestling, challenging Kody Lane for the Crown of Glory Championship.

A GoFundMe has been set up to help cover medical expenses:

Jake Parnell, also known as WARHORSE, has spent many years bringing friendship, guidance and entertainment to the greater St. Louis area as well as to many across the entire world. He has had many memorable moments in the ring and had just planned to bring back the energy that had the internet begging for him to wrestle on TV. This isn’t a brag about our friend but a testament to the joy he has given so many. Whether it was head banging at the Mall of America, screaming at passing cars in the middle of a corn field, or just interacting with people on Twitter (IN ALL CAPS OF COURSE). He always made sure to give every performance the exact same level of energy and care. He’s become a pivotal role in the next generation of indie wrestlers and never hesitates to give everything he can to help other wrestlers.

But unfortunately this weekend he suffered a freak injury while wrestling in his hometown of St. Louis. Jake broke his fibula completely through and won’t be able to wrestle for some time. Medical bills are expensive and that’s the risk wrestlers take trying to do what they love. The road to recovery won’t be cheap, but I ask that we make it as easy as possible for the man that gave all of us so much for so long.

So if WARHORSE or Jake has brought you anything of value over the years, please consider helping him out during this unfortunate situation. Thank you.

Fans can donate to the GoFundMe here.

Fightful wishes Warhorse the best in his recovery.
