Former WWE ID superstar Aaron Roberts admits that if given the opportunity, he would do WWE ID all over again.
In August of this year, Aaron Roberts would be released from his WWE ID deal after being signed to one in November of 2024 as part of the first round up of WWE ID talents. Now, he has reflected on the experience.
While speaking to Roman McPeake in a new interview, Roberts noted that if he had the chance to do it all over again, he would still sign with WWE ID.
“Yeah, I mean, I would definitely do it all over again. It was a good learning experience, a great learning experience. I would say working hand in hand with the incredible talent that’s in the program. But more so, being able to just call X-Pac and say, ‘hey, coach, what do you think about this?’ Having that connection with X-Pac and our other coaches as well, the experience down at the PC, learning just in and out what they’re looking for and what I need to be doing to get there. That’s the end all, be all. It’s living the dream, providing for my family, doing the thing I love, which is professional wrestling and really, there’s only two to three major companies you can do that in, and if you know what they’re looking for, that’s the best way in. So like I was saying, it was an incredible learning experience. I would love to do it again, but this time… There’s no falling back. There’s no waiting to be told what you want, what you want me to do. If I were to do it again today, I would make sure I 100% stayed myself. Didn’t try to become something else. Because being Aaron Roberts got me to the show. Why would I do anything other than be Aaron Roberts?”
