Philadelphia Eagles DB Cooper DeJean Says He Had John Cena Celebration Planned For A While

Cooper DeJean and the Philadelphia Eagles defense paid tribute to John Cena on Friday, hitting the five-knuckle shuffle as their INT celebration against the Washington Commanders.

DeJean picked off Commanders QB Marcus Mariota late in the third quarter with the Eagles protecting a 14-10 lead.

After DeJean was tackled down, the Eagles defense rushed to the endzone where Quinyon Mitchell laid down to set up the celebration. DeJean told Mitchell, “You can’t see me,” brushed his shoulder off and dropped the five-knuckle shuffle on Mitchell, pinning him for the three count.

After the game, DeJean said they had the celebration planned for a while, but neither he or Mitchell got an interception.
