Jelly Roll Among 33 Individuals Granted Pardons By Tennessee Governor

Musician and WWE celebrity wrestler Jelly Roll was one of 33 people who were granted pardons by Bill Lee, the Governor of Tennessee.

NewsChannel 5 Nashville has the story up on their website, which includes a statement from Governor Lee:

“After thoroughly reviewing the merits of each case, I have decided to grant 33 individuals executive clemency. Each individual case is unique and warranted consideration, and I thank the Board of Parole members for their thoughtful recommendations throughout this process.”

Jelly Roll was first arrested at the age of 14. He spent the next decade of his life in and out of juvenile and adult facilities. He was arrested around 40 times for offenses such as drug possession and dealing.

At the age of 16, he was convicted of aggravated robbery, which led to him being sentenced as an adult.

In April 2025, the Tennessee Board of Parole recommended a pardon for Jelly Roll.

In August, Jelly Roll made his WWE in-ring debut at SummerSlam. He teamed with Randy Orton to face Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul.
