Kendal Grey speaks on how she found herself in the pro wrestling industry.

Grey has quickly become one of the fastest rising stars in WWE NXT’s women’s division, currently holding the EVOLVE Women’s Championship along with being the number one contender for the NXT Women’s Championship. Despite her early success in wrestling, Kendal was originally an accomplished amateur wrestler before being signed to WWE.

While speaking during a NXT fan Q and A recorded by Rock n Co Wrestling, Kendal Grey briefly spoke about her journey to WWE, noting that now that she is in it, she can’t see herself doing anything else.

“For me, I watched it as a kid, but I never thought that I could be a WWE superstar. So then I went off to college. I was an amateur wrestler in college. Then with the NIL program, with WWE, it kind of opened this opportunity up for me. But now that I’m in it, I can’t see myself doing anything else.”

Elsewhere in the same Q and A, Ethan Page spoke about John Cena’s retirement match at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event. You can read more about that here.
