Kyle Fletcher Confirms Signing New AEW Contract

Fletcher will be with AEW for the foreseeable future.

The latest guest to sit down with Chris Van Vliet for an interview was AEW’s Kyle Fletcher. As their chat moved along, Fletcher confirmed that he signed a new contract with All Elite Wrestling.

In August 2025, Fightful Select reported that Fletcher and AEW reached a new multi-year agreement in the spring that was described as a ‘big money deal.’ Fletcher spoke about the contract and said he never thought he’d be one of the wrestlers to have the contract he currently has.

“I did (sign a new contract with AEW). Yeah. This year. Man, it felt really cool. I was on a beach in Jamaica when I signed my contract… It was pretty surreal. It was one of those moments that I thought about my whole life, signing that first big deal. I gave me a bit of like — I hate throwing around big buzz words — but imposter syndrome. It made me feel like I was like, man, when I was growing up, I thought there were maybe one or two people with these kind of contracts in the whole world of professional wrestling and here I am. It’s a very weird feeling. It’s very weird to realize, like, man, this spot that I’m in, it’s pretty big, it’s pretty special. Not a lot of people get to this level.”

Fletcher is competing in AEW’s Continental Classic tournament. Fletcher is in the Gold League bracket of the tournament and is in a three-way tie for first place.
