Solomon Grundy (Tim Hagood) Passes Away

Former wrestler Solomon Grundy (Tim Hagood) passed away.
Roy Lucier shared that Grundy passed away due to a heart attack.
“It is with the deepest and saddest heart that I come to all of you this morning and bring the news of the passing of my close friend, Solomon Grundy aka Tim Hagood, who passed last night after a massive heart attack,” Lucier announced. “An amazing career, started around Texas and ended up in Mexico, known as a lovable Hillbilly Jim type character. Personally, I loved the dude. I could stay on the phone with him for hours listening to stories about his time in CMLL in the early 90’s, during the Vampiro era and the stuff he was a part of. This one deeply hurts.”
Grundy was best known for his time in Mexico where he competed for EMLL/CMLL. He teamed with Mike Shaw (WWE wrestler Bastion Booger), who went by Aaron Grundy.
He also competed in World Class Championship Wrestling and Memphis.
Grundy had been undergoing dialysis in recent years. He was also a caregiver to his mother before she passed away. He started a GoFundMe campaign in 2023 to help with the medical and financial difficulties he was facing.
