Drew McIntyre Interrupts Cody Rhodes vs. Oba Femi At WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, Femi & Rhodes Take McIntyre Out

McIntyre ruins Femi versus Rhodes.

Kicking off the in-ring action at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on the night of John Cena’s final match was a singles bout between NXT Champion Oba Femi and Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes.

There was a point in the match when Rhodes hit a ‘Cody Cutter’ onto Femi. While both competitors were down, Drew McIntyre stormed the ring and went after Rhodes. The referee threw the match out.

Femi pulled McIntyre off Rhodes, and when they went face-to-face, McIntyre began trash-talking the NXT Champion, which led to Femi shoving McIntyre to the mat. Rhodes proceeded to hit a Cody Cutter on McIntyre, and Femi followed up by chokeslamming Drew.

When McIntyre was removed from the picture, Rhodes handed Femi his NXT Title and then raised Femi’s hand. Femi would later raise Rhodes’ hand.
