Numerous Wrestlers Pay Tribute To DPW After Farewell Show

Pro wrestling fans were shocked when Deadlock Pro Wrestling announced their 4th Anniversary Show would be their last for the foreseeable future. Their hiatus seemingly came out of nowhere, though fans in Japan will have one last chance to see the promotion in 2026.

At the time of writing, it’s still unknown if, or when DPW will return for a show in the United States. Their 4th Anniversary show will soon air online, but shortly after the show numerous wrestlers paid tribute to the promotion.

“DPW🧡🖤,” Kevin Blackwood said with the signature orange and black colors that have represented DPW throughout the years.

Jake Something wrote, “DPW FOREVER.” The current DPW World Champion recently recaptured his championship from Adam Priest in a Steel Cage match at Super Battle.

“I miss Deadlock Pro Wrestling,” Trevor Lee posted nearly immediately after the show ended.

The one and only Erick Stevens commented, “If last night truly was the last DPW show ever, they went out on a high note. One of the best top to bottom shows I’ve ever been a part of.”

Mad Dog Connelly was the only wrestler to post a picture from the show as he wrote, “DPW FOREVER.”

The show followed a similar format to PWG Mystery Vortex as none of the matches were announced ahead of time. DPW’s 4th Anniversary event was completely sold out and they were matching donations, up to $10,000, for the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina.
