Ricochet brags about his marketability as a champion in All Elite Wrestling.

The leader of The Demand would take mart in a Casino Gauntlet at AEW Full Gear recently to crown the first ever National Champion. While he would face adversity in the match, the high flying star would eventually come away with the victory in the gauntlet. Now, he wants to leave a legacy as the national champion.

While speaking to The Sportster in a new interview, Ricochet spoke about what he wants to leave as a legacy as the first National Title champion in AEW.

“Honestly, as much as I don’t like to admit it- but it’s going to be hard work. It’s going to be as hard as I’m willing to work is, as big as legacy, as much prestigious as title is going to be as many- I think it’s up to me to decide on the legacy of the title and I think that comes with the work that I put in to it, and I think that over the past couple of months, this past year, has shown everyone that I can, I can honestly, I said this past year, my whole career has been about making things and making people look better than they actually are. So this is just another thing that I’m going to make one of the most prestigious title in AEW. I know right now you got the, the United Championship, you got the International, you got the Continental. You got the TBS. You got the TNT. You got the Women’s World. You got the Men’s World, and you got this one, and I think out of all the people in the company, I think I am the most marketable. I am the most profitable. I am the most interchangeable one, along with whether it’s pop culture, whatever it is, I’m the most marketable and this title is the prettiest one. So I think those two things together is just going to blend perfectly, and again, by the end of the day, I think it’s the amount of work that I’m willing to put in that’s going to make this mean something, and that’s one thing that I’ve never shied away from is working is hard work. So, yeah, I think that’s what it’s going to be. I think, again, the past two decades have shown that I can take a championship and make it absolutely mean more than what you ever think it could be.”

Elsewhere in the same interview, Ricochet spoke about when he knew The Gates Of Agony were smart. You can read more about that here.
