Laynie Luck Looks Back On Training With Bayley At Mustafa Ali’s Wrestling School

The I.D. champ got some ringtime with a WWE main roster talent.
There’s an interview on Pro Wrestling Illustrated’s YouTube channel with the current WWE I.D. Women’s Champion Laynie Luck.
Luck is the second-ever holder of the championship, and with her win, she earned a WWE I.D. contract. As the interview went on, Luck was asked about her training session with WWE’s Bayley. Bayley came to Mustafa Ali’s wrestling school in Illinois.
“Even the training was like the smallest part of it. Just to see her and experience her heart and how she truly loves wrestling and how much she cares… and to do this so long and to be at the level she is, just to care like she does I feel is just special. A little rare. I understand we all care but — not saying other people don’t care — but just to see how much she’s trying to put into being ready for her seminars by going to these other schools and willing to get in there and do these complicated, crazy spots that (Mustafa) Ali is putting us through on a weekly and it’s like we do this stuff all the time so we know what’s going on but for her to go in there and be vulnerable and be like, ‘Hey guys… I don’t know what I’m doing. Help me through this.’ It was just very cool that she’s just like a real genuine person with so much love for all of this.”
Bayley took to X and shared photos from a training session she hosted with a multitude of women’s wrestlers on the independent scene. Joining in on the session were the likes of Charlotte Flair and Lyra Valkyria.
