Bayley Says It Blows Her Mind When Wrestlers Leave The Show Early
Bayley has become one of the most respected veterans in WWE, working her way up from NXT and establishing herself as a main roster staple who can be trusted in promo segments and in the ring.
Throughout the years in wrestling, many veteran wrestlers would stay through to the end of any event, giving feedback or trying to learn themselves.
Appearing on Six Feet Under with The Undertaker and Michelle McCool, McCool noted that it blew her mind when wrestlers didn’t stay to the end.
Bayley said, “Don’t get me started on that. That blows my mind when people (leave). I can’t imagine what it was like. When I first got on the road, all the live events, you always watch. (John) Cena watched everything. Roman (Reigns) watched everything. Now, these last few years, Seth (Rollins) is always at that front monitor. I always like watching at the front monitor because you can hear the crowd better and when people come back, they ask Seth, ‘What did you think?’ Then, I can hear what he’s saying to them, so I’m learning too. Lately, there are some people who just leave. Seth comes back from the main event and nobody is there. What? You just asked for his advice and now nobody is here? That drives me crazy. Some people who aren’t on the show just take of. I’ve had this conversation with some people and I just don’t get it. It’s different. I don’t know what’s missing. I’m trying to lead by example, so I hope the girls see that I’m still here. I’m not booked, but I’m in Gorilla or watching the matches no matter what. ‘Oh, I should stay too.’ Some may think like that, some may not.”
Elsewhere during the interview, Bayley commented on her potential future in wrestling after she retires from an in-ring career. You can find her full comments here.
