Ridge Holland Feels ‘Certain Members In The Hierarchy’ At WWE Held Big E’s Injury Against Him

Ridge Holland further speaks about Big E’s injury.

There was a virtual signing that K & S WrestleFest hosted with Ridge Holland as the featured guest. Along the way, Holland was asked about Big E’s career-ending injury and receiving backlash for delivering the move that put E on the shelf.

Holland stated that he feels certain higher-ups at WWE held that against him, and it made it difficult for Holland to progress in his career.

“I felt it a little bit,” Holland responded when asked if it felt like those in WWE held Big E’s injury against him. “I felt it did affect my career from going forward. I never really got started. I think it probably was a black cloud that was hanging over me, from certain members in the hierarchy. Not mentioning any names but, I think it kind of put a black mark on me going forward and it made it very difficult for me to get past that in the eyes of some people in the company.”

Holland has undergone neck surgery. Although he’s no longer with WWE, he shared that the company paid for the operation.
