Lee Moriarty To Defend ROH Pure Title On 12/26 ROH Boxing Day Brawl

Lee Moriarty vs. Komander will still take place, just at a later date.
AEW President Tony Khan announced that Lee Moriarty will defend the ROH Pure Championship against Komander on December 26th at ROH Boxing Day Brawl.
Moriarty vs. Komander was originally scheduled for ROH Final Battle, but Komander was moved into the Survival of the Fittest match for the ROH World Title due to an injury to RUSH.
If Komander wins the ROH World Title, his bout against Moriarty will be title vs. title.
Moriarty is now set to face Nigel McGuinness at ROH Final Battle in a 30-minute Iron Man match. The ROH Pure Title will not be on the line in the match.
With Rush out of #ROHFinalBattle after his injury vs Bandido on Collision 11/15, Komander was called up for the World Title Survival of the Fittest.
Lee Moriarty will now defend vs Komander at ROH Boxing Day Brawl 12/26!
If Komander is World Champion,
it will be title-for-title!— Tony Khan (@TonyKhan) November 29, 2025
