AEW Continental Classic 2025 Night One Recap

The 2025 AEW Continental Classic got underway on the November 26th episode of AEW Dynamite.
In the opening contest of the Continental Classic, Kyle Fletcher pinned reigning Continental Champion Kazuchika Okada. The finish saw Fletcher avoid the Rainmaker with a wheelbarrow cradle for the three count.
After the match, Okada showed respect to Fletcher, shaking his hand.
Fletcher moves to 1-0 with 3 points while Okada is 0-1 in the Gold League.
In the Blue League, Jon Moxley got back to his winning ways, submitting Mascara Dorada in his first matchup. Moxley is 1-0 while Dorada is 0-1.
In an upset, Kevin Knight scored a victory over Darby Allin in Gold League action. Knight got the win following the UFO splash.
Knight, who is now 1-0, and Allin, who is 0-1, shook hands after the match.
In the final bout of the night, Orange Cassidy took on Claudio Castagnoli in a Blue League contest.
Castagnoli picked up the victory, catching Cassidy with an uppercut. He is now 1-0, while Cassidy is 0-1.
