Becky Lynch Recounts How Women Would Have To Dress For WWE Events: “I Was In NXT So You Had To Be As Hoey As Possible”

More candid comments from Lynch during the appearance.
‘Something’s Burning,’ hosted by comedian Bert Kreischer, rolled out a new episode featuring WWE’s Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins.
As Rollins and Lynch were detailing when they first crossed paths in WWE, Rollins mentioned that he remembers the dress Lynch was wearing.
Lynch went on to state that women had to wear dresses that were ‘hoey,’ but that was the aesthetic at the time.
“At the time, when you were a girl in WWE, you always had to go to the shows in nice dresses… I was an extra. I was in NXT so you had to be as hoey as possible. You had to be like, dress, up to your ass, low as can be. This was the aesthetic. I didn’t suit the aesthetic but anyway…”
Elsewhere in the chat, Lynch told the story of there once being a male talent on WWE’s main roster who would blacklist women wrestlers after pursuing relations with them. For more on that, click here.
