Becky Lynch Reflects On Feud With Lacey Evans: “To Go From Main Event Of WrestleMania To Somebody Who Hadn’t Done Anything Was Terrible”

Lynch looks back at the program.

The first women’s match to main event WWE WrestleMania was a Triple Threat featuring Ronda Rousey, Becky Lynch, and Charlotte Flair for the Raw and SmackDown Women’s Championships at WrestleMania 35 in 2019.

Lynch emerged victorious from the bout by pinning Rousey. Coming out of WrestleMania, Lynch jumped into a program with now-former WWE talent Lacey Evans.

Lynch looked back on the post-WrestleMania program while speaking to Bert Kreischer on his ‘Something’s Burning’ show. She feels that going from the main event of WrestleMania to the program with Evans was terrible.

“I start working with Lacey Evans right out the gate… God bless her but she wasn’t — for me to go from the main event of WrestleMania to somebody who hadn’t done anything was terrible…”

Present day, Lynch is heading into the women’s WarGames match at the Survivor Series Premium Live Event. She’ll be teaming up with Lash Legend, Nia Jax, Asuka, and Kairi Sane to take on A.J. Lee, Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, Rhea Ripley, and IYO SKY.
